The problems are getting bigger than we thought, environmental factors, crop protection products such as glyphosate, poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS) and other harmful substances that can enter our bodies in various ways. Now that we are increasingly finding out that these very harmful substances are very bad for the environment, animals and humans, something has to be done.
Unfortunately, there are people who think otherwise, and lobby for longer use. Nota bene, so do the authorities.
PAN Europe and PAN Netherlands demand attention, as do cooperating health authorities. In vain, it is a call, no SCREAM to deaf ears. Why?
Power, and power is money! To let it go on now is very short-sighted, so we will have to unite even more strongly to show that this cannot go on any longer. Fortunately, there are also plenty of policymakers who do listen and understand that change is needed, and that this is possible. The Re-generation wants change. The future is theirs, GenZ and GenAlpha are rattling at the gates and want healthier, more affordable food and cleaner environment.
So let us plead for them the way we received from our parents for freedom. Because healthy living is also Freedom!
We can still reach the tipping point if we take further action now. And fortunately, more and more people are eating organic, and are asking for it, which is why large supermarket chains are now taking the lead in offering organic products at favorable prices, so that people with a small budget can also buy these products. That is a good step in the right direction, but we want more.
Because the water quality has been turned upside down by the use of PFAS and PFOS by large companies and our basic necessity WATER is in danger of going under. Drinking water will soon be scarce, so what?
Let’s keep ‘High Hopes’ so this won’t happen. ACTION! That’s what it takes. To govern is to look ahead, to anticipate what MAY happen, so roll up your sleeves, take care of the PEOPLE! After all, that’s what a government is for. And so you will have to dare to hold large companies accountable for what they discharge into the water, emit into the air and use to protect crops.
If large corporations then threaten to leave the Netherlands/Europe, only one word is needed, Repay!
Quite simply, you have built your business here through tax relief or not having to pay it at all, to what it is today. Bad, but if you want to leave the Netherlands because you want to continue using dirt and don’t give a shit about your country, you pay back every euro cent. And you can start all over again in that other country.
No, I’m not crazy! Yes, I’m serious! It is allowed to chafe, in fact, sometimes with the fist on the table and insult, because you HAVE to listen, and then enter into a dialogue. Because we’ve learned to talk, now we have to listen.
The pieces of music I use sometimes connect, sometimes they don’t. They do convey what I think of all this, and no not because I have Parkinson’s disease, but because of my children, grandchildren and therefore GenZ and GenAlpha. Are we leaving them a better, cleaner world, or were they born for nothing?
Mother Earth is crying out for help, showing her strength and making us realize that we should not destroy her, she has much to offer us. Who are we to think that we can influence her BEAUTIFUL nature without thinking about it. Regardless of who, what or how Mother Earth came into being, we have absolutely no right to think that we can and should not do this. Sometimes I ask myself, how do you look at it?
Of course, we have gained a lot from the Industrial Revolution and we can make, build and renovate very good things. But as I wrote before, there is a downside. The downside may be that we have been too energetic, that we have overshot the mark. Is that a bad thing?
Actually, yes, because looking ahead to what consequences could be in the distant future, we should of course have put on the brakes much earlier (what a pun). But done things don’t take a turn, so we will now have to make an emergency stop to turn the tide. And if we could and can make all that technology, we as humans can also slow it down, stop it and do it differently, right!
Suppose we could turn back the clock now, how beautiful would the World and Mother Earth suddenly be. Without toxins, plastics in oceans, waters and land. How many people would NOT be sick? The fact that we make ourselves sick by eating the wrong food, smoking and not exercising enough, yes that’s in your own hands. The choices were there and are still there, the information was lacking, but fortunately it is there. But due to environmental factors, air pollution, waste and water discharge, crop protection products that clearly indicate that people can become ill from them, is and remains a bad thing. Introduce the precautionary principle until it is proven that it does not burden public health to a certain extent, fewer sick people, less healthcare costs.
Oh yes, that’s true, that has also become a revenue model, so we have to take action ourselves. And that’s what’s happening now, thank goodness. And then we haven’t even talked about countries that wage War and don’t give each other the light in the eyes, this also puts Mother Earth under pressure, because all those bombs and fights also cause mess and uninhabitable areas.

The annoying thing is that we also fight against Time, because the longer we keep bickering, keep passing the ball to each other, the worse it gets. To face the Times, we must now take a good look in the mirror, each for himself, Leaders, Directors, the Man and ask ourselves: What the fuck do I want to achieve now?
Do you already know your answer? Well then, take action and make sure we listen to each other, and ask questions and listen again. Making a plan of action, and above all not putting ourselves first, but shoulder-to-shoulder, hand in hand tackling the Crises and ensuring that we are heading towards a healthier Future. Time is still there, so is Mother Earth, but they are not waiting. So fort, go forward and make Life more important than that Fuck money again!
Let’s demolish Wall, will we succeed? We’ll have to, otherwise you might as well leave it alone. Then sit and watch how it goes wrong. No, I’d rather not! So together and let the Rainbow shine again, with a more beautiful cleaner Mother Earth where Time suddenly stood still for a moment, and we Humans embrace Nature again and enjoy all its splendor.
And it doesn’t matter how the new Mother Earth was made and by whom, as long as it can show us her wonderful special gifts. A healthier world, with all the beauty there is, that’s what we have ‘High Hope’ for.
And when we gradually come to the realization, we join forces and get to work, at least those who want to. Unfortunately, there are still people who prefer to try to control Mother Earth, and that everything is allowed. To them I would say,
“Thank you for your own opinion and let’s talk, clarify everyone’s words. No, I don’t want to convince you that I’m right, in fact I want the best for you and me and our children. So looking for compromises and the best for all of us. However, I would like us to apply the proposal principle before we allow anything or continue to use it, so that we can make sure that the best research is not carried out. So that we can prevent diseases in humans, and afterwards look at how we can combat diseases from cultivation. And the reduction of toxic substances in every sector of industry.’
